Cooper Mountain Willamette Valley Chardonnay 2019

Cooper Mountain Willamette Valley Chardonnay 2019

90pts – Wine Enthusiast

90pt! Succulent and zesty, this lip-smacking style of Chardonnay avoids new oak in favor of tartly appealing fruit. Lemon, apple, and green pear flavors are buoyed with brisk acidity. It’s all estate-grown biodynamic fruit, with the texture and detail that implies. Wine Enthusiast, Editors’ Choice. —P.G

Cooper Mountain is a pioneering winery in Oregon’s Willamette Valley, established on the outskirts of Portland in the late 1970’s. The winery began as and remains a family endeavor, with two generations of the Gross family guiding Cooper Mountain. Since 2004 winemaker Gilles de Domingo has been overseeing all winemaking.

2019 Vintage:

There is more Chardonnay planted in the world than any other white wine on planet earth. Considered to be both an easy-drinking, ice cube-worthy experience as well as the most coveted, collectible wines. Our story with chardonnay begins many many moons ago with the volcanic soils that cover the hillsides and mountains of our valley. Fresh cool fruit of apple skins and mineral combine with zestful acid. From crab to chicken to poached salmon to creamy cheeses this wine stands up to a diverse array of foods.

Our signature chardonnay is sourced from our two oldest estate vineyards.
