14 Hands Rose Wine Columbia Valley 2022
VINTAGE NOTES
2021 was a very warm growing season which resulted in intensely concentrated flavors in the wines.
Our typical cool nights during harvest helped us retain the wonderful natural acidity Washington is known for.
The season produced red wines dark in color and dense in concentration and white wines with varietal character and bright vibrancy.
WINEMAKING NOTES
Grapes were sourced from vineyards throughout the Columbia Valley in Washington State and picked with relatively low sugar and good acidity.
The fruit was pressed gently, producing juice with a delicate pink hue. Extended, cool fermentations (14-20 days) in stainless steel tanks maintained bright aromatics and fresh flavors.
RECOMMENDED FOOD PAIRINGS
Perfect by the glass on the patio or with summer salads, grilled tuna, paella or salty cheeses.
TASTING NOTES
This Rosé wine opens with aromas of delicate red fruits. Refreshing flavors of cranberries, pomegranate and strawberries are followed closely by a kick of citrus on the finish.
