Tasting Panel – “Rich rose color with ltos of lively raspberry and lovely texture; elegant, racy, seamless and long.”
Wine & Spirits – “This blend is mostly Pinot Noir and Meunier, including 10 percent red wine for color. Chardonnay accounts for 10 to 20 percent, including a portion of reserve wines that may be providing the oceanic, oyster-shell notes that bring to mind Champagne’s Kimmeridgean limestone. This is broad and loose up front, with fruity scents of orange and pomegranate. Then the wine keeps buzzing with brisk acidity, tightening up and extending the flavors with energy. An impressive release of Imperial. Best Buy”
James Suckling – “With plenty of strawberry fruits on offer here, this has a very fresh and exuberant nose that shows assertive fruit characters. On the palate, this is smoothly textured, really even and balanced. Made for an immediate consumption and ever so smooth. Such attractive balance. Drink now. Interestingly, more than 20% of production at Moët et Chandon is rosé, so around twice the average for the region.”
Wine Spectator – “Firm and chalky in texture, this balanced rosé layers a smoke-tinged undertow with crisp white raspberry, pink grapefruit zest and fresh ginger notes. ”
Vinous / Antonio Galloni – “Dark, vivid pink. Ripe red berries, rose oil and tangerine on the nose, plus a subtle note of toasty lees. Bitter cherry and berry skin flavors give way to softer raspberry in the middle, with a tangy blood orange nuance adding cut and lift. Packs a punch but shows very good clarity and delineation, finishing round, smooth and quite long.”
