9% Grenache Gris             Arroyo Seco, Monterey

8% Pinot Gris                    Arroyo Seco, Monterey

5% Grenache Blanc          Santa Barbara

Each variety is picked and fermented separately  at low brix and good natural acidity. Destemmed and fermented at cool temperatures in both rotary and stainless steel closed top tanks. The average time of skin contact is 14 to 16 days before pressing into stainless steel. The wine is kept cold and only minimal sulfur is added before bottling.

Aromas:  TANGERINE & WHITE PEACH. Bright, crisp and refreshing.

LABEL ART:  The toasting toad, warmly celebrating friendship and good fun.

STORY:

Since 1994, Todd Williams- Dr. Toad, and his good friend Rodney Strong- The Dancing Badger, shared a love for wine and food. They embarked on an adventure to create wines that captured their special friendship, they called it Toad Hollow Vineyards.

TOAD HOLLOW FUN FACTS:

• A group of toads is called a “Knot”.
• Todd Williams (Toad Hollow Founder) was the older brother of comedian Robin Williams. It is rumored that young Robin was unable to say “Todd” and instead called him “Toad”.
• Toads are incredibly adaptable and can survive in many environments, much like a good friend who stands by you through various changes and challenges.
