Our Grenache block continues to excite and bless us with outstanding fruit for this Rose. We harvest this fruit based on acidity, which always seems to come into balance at very moderate sugar levels and once harvested the wine practically makes itself. After pressing we gravity feed the juice to stainless steel and a small percentage of neutral French oak barrels and let our minimalist nature take control. We stir the barrels and then blend them back into the tank portion just prior to bottling so we have a subtle creaminess on the palate that perfectly balances the vibrant acidity. Fresh strawberry, cranberry, bright red cherry, and pomegranate aromas and flavors swirl on the palate as the refreshing finish absolutely begs for another sip. This is not your ordinary picnic wine, so treat it as such with special fare of tomato basil gazpacho with rosemary-thyme buttered toast and extra virgin olive oil. Enjoy 2023-2025.
