The 2023 Sauvignon blanc achieved an exquisite level of ripeness in 2023. We harvested at a very reasonable 22.5 brix, but with aromas and flavors that are surprisingly ripe. Our estate vineyard’s soils and ambient winery yeasts created a supple, balanced wine of surprising depth and intricacy. Aromas and flavors of lime zest, crushed pineapple, mango, and flinty minerality mark the palate. Excellent acidity buoys the wine’s personality, but it remains supple and creamy on the palate. This is a candidate for immediate enjoyment or short-term storage. Our preference runs to baked oysters mignonette. Drink now through 2025.
