VINEYARD:

The grapes for this wine come from well-established vines in the Red Mountain AVA of Washington state.

VARIETAL:

80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Syrah, 5% Petit Verdot

ALCOHOL:

14.2%

WINEMAKING NOTES:

Harvested September 25 at 25.6 brix; fermented for 31 days; and aged 18 months in 45% new and 55% neutral, French oak.

TASTING NOTES:

Aromas of violets, black cherry, graphite, earth, and sage. In the mouth, flavors of black tea, baking chocolate, and black currant. It has excellent freshness and depth with a full, long finish.
